I had to go wardriving tonight in order to get internet so I could update. I’m balancing my laptop on my knee with one hand and typing with the other. Here’s hoping the cops don’t kick me out of this school parking lot.

So since I’ve been done with school I’ve been having trouble keeping up with my updates. This is mostly due to not having internet half the time, and I often don’t know what half of the time I will have it. As such I’m gonna drop back to one update a week (the Wednesday update) for a little while. Probably not for more than a month or so. As I intend to go back to two updates a week once I’ve got a job and a place to live plus start updating some other stuff. I also have an experimental idea for my sketch blog that’ll involve taking sketch requests. More info once I figure out exactly what I’m doing.

I’ve come to the realization that I haven’t made a proper newspost in sometime. I’m out of college now, I graduated, and am currently in a borderline futile job hunt.
As such I’m staying with my parents until I can find some way of earning money and getting my own place. I’ll probably be starting a second webcomic once my life stabilizes (i.e. I have enough room to work and some internet that isn’t dial up).

Also you may notice that the site looks different. The new comic press came out so I’m switching over. I’ll be doing visual tweaks to it eventually.

I feel rather productive today, I drew 1.5 comic pages, invented the word “Giboon,” and made notes on LiveJournal regarding chimichangas and alcohol.
Still job hunting, no luck yet.

Also I recently realized that my friend Cal makes custom screenprinted T-shirts. I’ve known this for some time, but it suddenly hit me that, hey, we could make Rift shirts. Plus, since they’re hand-screened we could do really small runs and it wouldn’t be an issue. Like I could do custom, one of a kind shirts, if people were willing to pay a little extra for them.
I’ll post more info as we figure things out.

Not much news on my front. I still don’t have a job and I’m still living out of a suitcase.
I applied for a job several weeks ago that looked pretty bitching but they sent me a form letter saying I’d have to wait months for them to decide who gets the job.
I’m assuming I didn’t get it unless I get info that indicates otherwise.

I can never seem to get these up right at midnight anymore. I’m gonna blame it on the fact that I barely have internet and am living out of a suitcase.
I applied for a job this week, haven’t heard anything back yet though. If I get it things will likely become a lot more stable in my life and consequently around here.

On an unrelated note I erased and redrew most of this page at least twice and I’m still not entirely happy with it.
